Director
Nigel comes to Encounter Youth with a background in youth and young adult team leadership and youth engagement project management within Commonwealth Government. Nigel is passionate in seeing Encounter Youth continue to grow as a cutting edge youth organisation in Australia that impacts the lives of young people. Nigel loves to spend his free time road and track cycling, watching the latest movies and hanging out with friends.

Green Team Coordinator
Jess comes to Encounter Youth with many years of experience working with volunteers in a variety of environments. She is excited about her role in an organisation that exists to partner with the community and see young people celebrate in a safe and healthy environment. Jess also loves her music and fills the rest of her life up with her voice teaching, accompanist and choir directing commitments.

Office Administrator
Kathryn (better known as Kat) comes to Encounter Youth with a background in the Visual Arts and many years volunteering with young people. She brings a creative touch to the Administration side of things and loves the opportunity Encounter Youth provides her to support and empower young people to make wise choices, through supporting the staff team administratively. Outside of the office Kat loves to fill her days making jewellery, playing sport and just hanging out with great people!

Project and Marketing Manager
With a background in Design and Youth Event Management, Carl comes to Encounter Youth with the excitement to take Schoolies Festival to the next level. Carl is passionate about working along side todays young people, emersing himself in their culture with the goal of helping them to grasp and experience their full potential. Carl spends his free time supporting his beloved Freo Football Club, collecting Retro Sneakers, geeking out on the latest Gadgets and playing heaps of sport.

Education Coordinator
With a background of just loving young people, Jess comes to Encounter Youth with an extensive collection of experiences. She has worked in Schools, Camps, Church and emergency residential care with young people. Jess loves to spend time hearing about the adventures and antics of young people. She is stoked to be a part of the education program, and is passionate about motivating young people to take charge of the choices in their life, as she is a believer in their capacity to change their world. Too much time alone drives Jess insane and so she spends her free time drinking coffee, hanging out with friends and watching chick flicks.
