ENCOUNTER YOUTH EDUCATION™
ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUG EDUCATION
Encounter Youth has been providing our alcohol & other drug education program to students, parents and teachers since 2000. We are the largest provider of school alcohol & other drug education to South Australian secondary students, educating over 22,000 young people, parents and teachers last year.
We aim to alert, inform, and empower young people to bring about safer, more meaningful celebration. We adopt a harm minimisation approach and encourage students to ‘look after themselves and their mates’. Our program aims to reduce and prevent alcohol and other drug-related harm among young people.
Why over 80 schools Chose Us Last Year
Serving Metro & Regional Schools Across South Australia
In addition to the many metro-based schools we serve, we travel to schools all across regional South Australia. We travel north to Leigh Creek, south to Mt Gambier, west to Ceduna and east to Bordertown to ensure that distance is not a barrier to receiving our evidence-based education.
