We offer customised seminars when our current packages don’t suit your community or when you require custom content to address a specific topic. We’d love to hear your needs and work together to create the perfect package for you.
Examples of custom content we have presented before include:
Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds
We partnered with the Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation Local Drug Action Team to develop and deliver a customised program for men from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to have a healthier relationship with alcohol and be positive role models to the young people in their community.
Oodnadatta Aboriginal School – Years 7-12
In consultation with Oodndatta Aboriginal School and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation Local Drug Action Team, we developed this program to inform and empower young people, parents and teachers in this community with Alcohol & Other Drug education relevant to their context. Additional practical exercises and engagement strategies were used relevant to the environment.
In consultation with local stakeholders, we customised our in-person and online programs for senior school students in the Riverland region. We educated on the impact of alcohol and other drugs on long-distance country driving as well as camping, swimming, boating and water sports. Students were equipped with strategies to provide extended support to an intoxicated friend and were connected to local support in their communities.
Nuriootpa High School – Disability Unit
Together with the school community, we customised our Regard the Risks Year 8 seminar to present a workshop style Introduction to Drugs in Australia to the students in the Disability Unit. This was presented in conjunction with both the Middle School and Senior School packages.
