Encounter Youth is conducting an
evaluation of the Encounter Youth
Hindley Street Program (the Program).
You are invited to take part in the
evaluation. This sheet explains what is
involved in taking part. Please read it
carefully. If you have any questions,
please contact Encounter Youth on the details
below.
Your participation is entirely voluntary. If
you decide you would like to participate,
you are free to change your mind and
withdraw at any stage.
Taking part in the evaluation
Your feedback will help us to measure
the activities and outcomes of the
Program and whether it is achieving its
objectives as intended.
The objectives of the Program
Overall, the objectives of the Program
are:
1. To support young people in
vulnerable situations caused by
excessive alcohol consumption.
2. To communicate party safe
information to young people
through the ‘A Lighter Night’
campaign.
3. To collaborate with key
stakeholders to improve late
night safety in the Hindley Street
entertainment precinct and report
engagement and critical incident
referral statistics.
Confidentiality
Subject to any legal requirements to
disclose, all information you provide is
confidential. Your responses will not be
directly passed on to anyone else and
the final report will be a summary of the
evaluation findings. The report will not
identify any individual person.
The findings of the evaluation
The findings of the evaluation will be
reported to the Attorney
-General and
Encounter Youth. The report will provide
information on the outcomes of the
Program. The findings will be used to
make decisions about the future of the
Program and whether any
improvements should be made to the
Program.
