Jess: We have an exciting new change to share with you today.
Nigel: Over the years you may have seen or been a part of the continuous growth and changes that Encounter Youth has been through.
Jess: Since Encounter Youth was established in 1999, there have been a few different branding styles and name changes. We originally started out as Encounter Schoolies and have progressed to the look and name you know and trust as Encounter Youth.
Nigel: This branding has been a part of the organisation for 9 years, and while it has certainly been effective, we are ready for a little freshen up. Encounter Youth is an organisation that is constantly evolving and growing as we look for new opportunities to support young people, and we want our branding to capture and reflect this.
Jess: We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and invite you to discover our fresh and new look for Encounter Youth. We love it and we hope you do too!
Nigel: We have introduced an icon to our logo. Icons are a really effective way to visually identify an organisation and clearly represent what they do.
Jess: Our new logo is built around an icon that features a group of people working together towards a common goal. It represents key values of our organisation: Teamwork, Support, Partnership, Participation, Collaboration, Forward Movement and Momentum.
Nigel: We believe this really captures the essence of what Encounter Youth is all about and doesn’t limit any opportunities that we endeavour to pursue, as we grow and evolve in the future.
Jess: We are here to support young people to make a positive difference in the world, and we look forward to journeying through this new change with you as we continue to fulfill that mandate.
