School Seminars

At Encounter Youth, we are passionate about equipping young people to celebrate positively and safely. Our Alcohol & Other Drug education program delivers school seminar packages for schools and community groups across Australia.

Our seminar packages account for different young people’s stages of development. We are committed to supporting and enhancing your communities existing alcohol & other drug education and pastoral care programs.

Our seminar packages are fee-for-service and consists of three 75-minute consecutive year-level seminars and a choice of parent or teacher seminar. Our program is designed to strengthen students’ knowledge each successive year and build an effective relationship with students, parents and staff. This holistic approach maximises the effectiveness and value of our program.

No matter where you’re located, we’ve got you covered. We love to travel and we are happy to come to you. We present our program in communities across Australia. Distance is not a barrier to receiving our evidence-based education.

Middle School Program
(Years 7-9)

Our Middle School program provides age-appropriate information addressing the issues facing students in Years 7, 8 and 9. The package includes a seminar for each year level, with the option to add either a Vaping or Digital Wellbeing elective, plus a choice of either a parent or teacher seminar.

Our Senior School program is designed to address the unique challenges faced by students in Years 10, 11 and 12. The package includes a seminar for each year level, with the option to add a Vaping elective, plus a choice of either a parent or teacher seminar.

Specialised seminars are available from Year 7 to 12, parents and staff to equip them with information and strategies to navigate this emerging trend.

Year 12 (SA Only)

This specialised seminar is the complete end-of-year celebration guide whether students are planning to celebrate at Schoolies Festival™ or out of town.

Digital Wellbeing Sessions

Our Digital Wellbeing session for Years 5 & 6 helps students understand how technology can affect their health and develop healthier digital habits. Accompanying parent sessions provide practical strategies for managing screen time, encourage open conversations and highlight current Australian guidelines.
