Plan ahead for Schoolies Festival

School Festival™ Media

The Encounter Youth Schoolies Festival™ site at Victor Harbor is fully enclosed. All media personnel who desire to enter the site will be required to individually apply and be assessed for a media accreditation pass.

Encounter Youth Inc. is an organisation that works with children and young people (persons under 18 years) and therefore has an obligation to provide a Child Safe Environment.

Due to updates in South Australian child protection legislation, all media personnel (including but not limited to journalists, camera operators, security-guards, photographers) will be required to also supply a valid Criminal History Document.

To find out what Criminal History Documents are accepted by Encounter Youth and how to apply for one, please refer to the FAQs section of our Media Accreditation Application Process (PDF).

View Encounter Youth’s Child Protection Policy.

Please Note

In the event that no valid Criminal History Document is provided to Encounter Youth, the media personnel will have their Media Accreditation Application automatically declined and will be unable to enter the Schoolies Festival™ site.
